Sweet Dreaming Summer

Save me from myself tonight in dreams that violate the love you gave us
Tend the skin that holds me in and pull me inside too

Trace a line that climbs within and chimes my heart in belling
running  along its fine tuned tones
emotion swelling

I hear a scented rose decline the petals falling in the breeze
Stay with me now and show us how your heart bleeds

Lay lost one ,
each second swims me to you,

roots that bind me to trees, an avenue of devotion
sleep on the hammock swung within cradled
in sonnets slumber
