Figure’s in the dust.
Indiscretion
walks aloft, rippling
ghostly
In the spirit
That the head, less even,
was
A step too heavy. Mine,
or theirs?
The giggle rolls…
it stops.
It’s caught
Without the knowledge in
how clever it was tossed.

Thanks Peter 🙂 Some clarity?…Thinking you’re clever, and being/doing something clever are two different things. This is my take on the latter, and the possible inevitable consequence…that’s all 🙂
Yes, K. as Dean says, a ‘little trinket’ one keeps turning in the hand, ‘without the knowledge of / the clever’…
Thank you, all 🙂 Just to add…if it’s thrown just so…it ‘comes back’…Much appreciated 🙂
strange little trinket one turns about looking for the latch, the obscure brightness
I like the way the lines are grouped in this….adds a bit of dimension and impact 😃
Love the last lines. Very clever.
