I listen to the rain –
on the roof –
I hate the fucking rain!!!
Most people find it soothing..
they tell me –
Again and again –
You must be mad!!!
If you don’t enjoy…
the subtle lullaby –
Rocking. rocking. rocking…
Even as a child –
I used to put my face
close up to the window –
Feel the tears from the sky –
Mother Nature –
releasing her angst –
Turning on the world –
Volcanoes from beneath –
Try to reach up –
for Nature’s balance –
Iceburgs melting –
We are drowning –
from below now –
Ancient cities –
Ancient cultures –
LOST!!!
To the Winds of change –
I listen to the rain –
on the roof –
I hate the fucking rain –
It”s the world melting –
Into itself –
Again and again and again…

I really like the first 14 lines…then it losses me…the personal immediacy before it gets…I don’t know…too cliché symbolic maybe, for me, anyway…cool 1st XIV, tho
